It might not even be ten years before major publishing companies start offering their entire collections online. The same thing is happening with newspapers and magazines, too. Amazon caused all of this with their persistence that the Kindle is "as good as" a book. Despite all of this digital dominance, the home printer will likely be sticking around for a while yet. Ink and paper can't be replaced by modern technology. That's why it's so sad that brand name printer ink is so high. The price of a generic ink, though, is just about right.
